Introduction of SDDS-EU overview data distribution system into regular operation

A system for surveillance data processing SDDS-EU is to be commissioned within the third quarter of 2023 in BULATSA. The system was developed by EUROCONTROL and has the necessary performance and functionality to process all modern surveillance technologies (WAM, ADS-B, ELS/EHS Mode S, etc.), while at the same time its architecture is scalable and allows for capacity increase when it is necessary.

The commissioning of the SDDS-EU system will provide BULATSA with two independent modern systems for the distribution of surveillance data – SDDS-NG and SDDS-EU, thus making it possible decommissioning of the RMCDE system  without loss of redundancy.

The integration of the SDDS-EU system in BULATSA is in the test operation phase – the system is used in the BULATSA test environment.
