The Director General of BULATSA Held a Meeting with Arndt Schoenemann, Chief Executive Officer of DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH

The Director General of BULATSA (Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority), Mr. Ivan Dyaksov, held a meeting with Arndt Schoenemann, Chief Executive Officer of DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, the German ANSP.

During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities to expand cooperation between DFS and BULATSA, focusing on increasing capacity, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing new technology in air traffic management.

The guests were introduced to BULATSA’s activities and several of the organization’s key projects, including the modernization of the operational control room and the technical room at the Sofia Area Control Centre (ACC), the modernization of the Air Traffic Management System, Contingency and Data Center in Bozhurishte.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining an active dialogue through the exchange of expertise and best practices, and to working on specific initiatives aimed at deepening cooperation in the fields of air traffic management and air navigation services.
