Voluntary incident reporting
In accordance to Regulation (EU) No 376/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 April 2014 on the reporting, analysis and follow-up of occurrences in civil aviation, BULATSA introduces a system for voluntary reporting (VOR) so that individuals can report events related to the aviation safety. The introduction of the voluntary reporting system is intended to facilitate the collection of: a) reports of events which are not captured by the system for mandatory reporting (MOR); b) other safety-related information which is considered by the reporting party to be a sign or a real or potential threat to aviation safety. A primary objective of the voluntary reporting system is for persons not directly involved in aviation safety and who are not listed in Article 4 (6) of Regulation (EU) No 376/2014 to be able to report and assist in the collection of event and other safety-related information which is not subject to mandatory reporting in accordance with Article 4 (1) of Regulation (EU) No 376/2014. In accordance with the accepted and approved Just Culture Policy, BULATSA ensures the confidentiality and protection of the personal data of the reporting party as well as of the employees mentioned in the aviation reports in accordance with the provisions of applicable European and national legislation. |
